Fantastic :)

I've spent far too many hours working on the jerry military radio sets, and getting bits and pieces for the rocket engine.

Time for another trip to the industrial scrappy tommorow. Best make a trip to the lumber yard as well.

Work was quiet this afternoon, and i was bored. And the old carpentry workshop still hasn't been stripped of its kit yet...

Approx 60cm x 30cm x 20cm

Need some more sodding paint to finish the "radios" now...

I now have 5 CD players available for use.

2 are CIA ones. I had broken one so bought 2 more, but have now fixed the broken one. So thats 4 of the small silver ones available to us.

I have also one large black ghetto blaster. Thats an old one of mine.

Do we have all the CDs needed for these? I have enough batteries...

------

I have checked and I have 29 of the hessian bandages from CR. I also have some of the white cloth bandages, but I think it'd better just to use one type. Before I rush out and buy another roll of hessian, do we have any more of that type of bandage?

------

I have 7 lamitated objective markers with UK and German flags on either side. 3 must still be at PU. I think we need 10 for wotan, can you confirm? If we do need more then CW can you print them out and bring them to the Nam game at F&O next weekend and I'll get them laminated.

------

I'll bring my two 5.56mm ammo tins, large and brown. I also have a .303 ammo tin, but that one is used for re-enactment and will want to be looked after a bit.

In the tins I found 2 german stick grenades. I assume these are the type with peas in them, so I guess we can't use 'em?

I also found 3x 25g maroons in one tin, god knows how those got in there? ! I think those are Major's and will be giving them back to him... heh. Or did they come from Phoenix and hence are CiAs?

I've still got a load of hessian bandages, plus three medic bags and 2 of your radios Rich .
You've got my Glenn millar CD from memory which would be nice ot see again

BTW I note you've got 4 in your car, I've got room for one , would you like me ot take Major down ? I'd offer ot take Syd but six hours in the car with him would probs be fatal

lol...

How many bandages exactly do you have Guy?

Good on the radios... I'll bring my chargers to get them charged up during the night.

Yes I have your Glenn Miller CD, plus a couple of others as well that I think are yours!

I think I should manage to get all 4 in the car as I still have the roof box on and I could always put Syd in that ;), but if its not going to squeeze you too much then one swapped over to yours would be good. However note that Major will be bringing the Vickers so make sure you have room for that! It may be an idea to meet at Major's first thing Sat morning to make sure we get everyone in?

We're planning on going to Sabre during the day and actually I need a trip to USMC as well...

I actually managed fine with Syd in the car on the way back from CR... we had a very good chat actually!

I have five effects CD's for the different areas plus a couple of alarm ones for the big finish so that should be OK.
Suggest putting Guy's boom box in the map room (machine room) running with the 'machine room' CD changing it for the alarm klaxon CD at the end so we can get max volume instilling a bit more terror!

I'll look out that flag artwork and bring the prints next Sunday for you Rich.

Also, do you have those 6mil discount cards somewhere - I didn't get one and if there are a few left we can hand them out at Wotan.

Guy's boom box will not be making an appearance, it's too fecking big to drag down with the other large prop Kermit has commisioned. 8)

We'll have to make do with the little players then!

BTW, 240v supply available in the map room to plug a player into (if Kermit doesn't need it for his creation)!

David, I wont need it for "my creation".

Stephen, yes please, bung it in the car. Im bringing a couple down as well. Id rather that we found out we have too many players, than not enough.

I'm hoping if we keep the levels low the sound will remain quite localised - we only need to fill the tunnels with sound when the emergency starts.

yeah... should sound great though!

BTW... Ed has been off sick. A kidney infection. I thought he'd be back at work today, but isn't in yet... I'll ring him tomorrow night if he's not come in to work by then to find out if he's coming to wotan... etc...

Also, has anyone heard from Syd recently? He's gone rather quiet... I texted him last night to see if he was still coming down... no reply yet...
